Front End Web Developer | Content Creator & Story Teller | IT Support Technician

I am a freelancer at heart.  I view every task through a freelancer's eyes.  As a result, I plan, design, create and develop with efficiency and flexibility in mind.

I create and develop websites and have done so for over 15 years.  In addition, I develop marketing materials, videos, manage social media channels and blog posts. 

My primary position is working with Peterborough County as an IT Support Technician.  Helping solve technical issues, working with Microsoft Intune and Azure, and generally helping people is part of my day to day. 

Previously, I worked at PVNCCDSB as a Learning Technologies Specialist and had me managing technology and providing services in seven elementary and one high school in the City Of Kawartha Lakes region. 

Well-employed at EPC Peterborough I, along with my colleague Jean Giroux, have provided group social media training workshops to over 2200 students, newcomers, graduates, career changers, teachers, and older workers. Also, I have trained 63 Digital Job Search Coaches, and facilitated workshops to over 600 delegates at conferences including CANNEXUS, Futures, Ontario Cooperative Education Association, CASE conference, and Ontario School Counsellors' Association.  

A curiosity to see how everything works and a deep-rooted desire to help are what drive me to do what I do.  As a Freelancer, I am open to opportunities and challenges.  I am always happy to chat about your next project or opportunity.
